Summary

In this episode Phil Allred and Kerry explore several things about the Savior's teachings, but they especially focus on the story of the woman taken in adultery, and how the Savior does not excuse her, but does give her space in which to change. They dive into the idea of how the Savior creates space for God, us, change, revelation, etc. They contrast what the Savior does with what Satan does.

vat of jello. Oh. That's just one of those weird things. I was hoping I would win the prize.

1:06.5

It was back in the days when they had raging waters. I don't know if they still have that.

1:10.9

Oh, yeah.

1:11.6

I drove up there from campus and was one of the hundred lucky people to jump in the vat,

1:19.0

pull out of tennis ball,

1:20.0

was supposed to have some number on it, right?

1:21.6

That I think I was two numbers off of winning the scooter or whatever it was.

1:27.1

But still, let's go. I did not know that. So, all right, there you go. It's not a common thing. And it was so definitely silent inside the jello that I have to say, it was just the most kind of like mold. Was it hard to get out? Oh, yeah, it was kind of hard to get out.

1:44.4

And then it was hard to get the jello off for days, I felt.

1:48.5

Yeah, so that was hilarious.

1:50.1

It wasn't worth it.
