Well, we have an update on the Lakewood shooter

I was partially right partially wrong

There was a trans identity thing going on, but it was not a male who identified as a female. It was a

female who had been identifying as a male, but apparently was kind of going back.

Yeah, the coroner's office says it's got the plumbing of a female.

That's what they've, that's what the officers are telling me.

And, um, yeah, so this, this put HPD in quite the pickle.

They did an exhaustive investigation into the Lakewood shooter's pronouns.

So much so that they announced it at a press conference.

Both male and female names, but through all of our investigation to this point talking with individuals, interviews, documents, Houston Police Department reports.

She has been identified this entire time as female, she, her, and so we are identifying her as Genesee Moreno, Hispanic female.

Can you imagine? This guy went to the police academy. He signed up to serve. He grew up watching cop shows, probably with his dad.

And now he's got to go out and do that.

How does that work?

I like to think that before the press conference he had to psych himself up.

I'm gonna go out there and I'm gonna give the facts.

Nothing but the facts.
