My co-host this week, as always, is Cleveland Area Attorney and sometime Republican strategist, Jay Carson.

Before we get to our top story this week, we've got a listener comment from our show of May 1st, where we talked about voting laws in Texas.

Evelyn from Houston, Texas, wrote him to say this.

Jay repeatedly stated that any voter can vote by mail in Texas.

That information is inaccurate.

Voting by mail is permitted only in a few specific circumstances,

such as if the eligible voter is elderly, disabled,

physically out of the country during early

voting, and on election day or confined in jail. So thanks very much, Evelyn, for pointing that

out. And Evelyn, you are absolutely right, and I am absolutely wrong. So I apologize. And again,

I would say we, while we strive for excellence every week, we don't always get there.

And looking through Texas's vote by mail, I sort of made the mistaken assumption that it works similar to Ohio's vote by mail, which isn't all open, you can vote whatever. So my apologies and thanks for the correction.

Yeah. And if you hear anything that you don't think is correct, then you can, you know,

send us a correction, especially like Evelyn did with a link to the Texas Secretary of State

site so we could actually check on that.
