Welcome to the politics guys. I'm Michael Barronowski, a political scientist at Northern Kentucky University.

My co-host this week, as always, is Cleveland Area Attorney and sometime Republican strategist, Jay Carson.

What an intense, insane, and utterly disgusting week it's been.

A week ago, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton met for their second

debate, at which time Donald Trump said that if he won, Clinton would be in jail, and also that

his so-called locker room talk captured on the Access Hollywood tape was just that, only talk,

and that he never acted on it. Well, it didn't take long before a number of women challenged that

assertion.

I have the count up to eight as of today, and I wouldn't be surprised if there are more to come

sort of along the lines of the whole Cosby thing. Now, Trump responded in typical Trumpian fashion

by attacking, calling the women liars and also in several cases, suggesting that they were too

unattractive to sexually assault.

You know, last week it was hard to see a way. Which that's always the best of the fact.

Yeah, absolutely, you know, I'm sure as advisors said, go with that. But, you know, last week, Jay,

it was hard to see a way Trump could win the election. The math just wasn't working out with the polling.

This week, it seems like it's all but

impossible. And really, the only real questions, at least for me at this point, are number one,

how much damage he'll do to Republican down-ticket candidates. And number two, whether or not

he'll concede when he loses. What do you think? Well, you know, on the down ticket damage, we talked about that brief last week.

And the sense that I'm getting, as I read things and hear things, is that most of those

races are being won or lost on their own merits. I don't see that much of a Trump down draft.
