1:20.5	split 50-50 in its vote on whether or not to confirm Pete Hegeseth and Vice President J.D. Vance cast that tie-breaking vote
1:29.5	in order to confirm him as the next Secretary of Defense. Hegseth today reiterated that the
1:35.5	Pentagon will carry out Trump's executive orders, including removing diversity, equity,
1:40.4	and inclusion programs inside the Pentagon, and reinstating troops who are pushed out or
1:46.3	fired because they refuse to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Trump is also expected to sign an
1:52.3	executive order barring transgender individuals from serving in the armed forces. Hegeseth also pledged
1:58.7	that the Defense Department will work hand in hand with border officials
