0:44.8	He's an author, he's a cancer survivor and he's gonna be a feature lock-snapper at USC.
0:50.1	But welcome to the show Jake, how's it going? Hey Hey thanks Ryan for having me it's doing great.
0:55.0	Yeah so if people don't know they should know your story by now but if not
0:58.0	back as a kid when you were eight months old you were diagnosed with a rare form of eye cancer.
1:04.8	You end up losing one of your eyes as a toddler and then unfortunately in 2009, I think it was 12 years later or so,
1:11.6	you lost the other eye.
1:12.9	But before that, you kind of got involved
1:15.6	with the USC football team and Pete Carroll.
1:17.8	And it seems like they inspired you and you inspired them
1:21.0	and you could see your story on college game day and I was really kind of people you know back in
1:26.3	that 2008 2009 it was very intriguing especially with the program being you know as
1:32.1	high as it was and you kind of came in and it seemed
1:35.3	to help you and seemed to help the team too. Yeah no it was a very cool
1:40.6	experience I grew up being a soldier and saying my dad received his MBA from USC,
