Summary

Shedeur Sanders has finally been named as the starting quarterback of the Cleveland Browns after winning his first start against the Las Vegas Raiders. Sanders played well, but the reality is it took far too long for Sanders to get this opportunity and there is a chance the Browns may fall backwards into destiny. Joe Burrow will return for the Cincinnati Bengals on Thanksgiving and while it will make for better entertainment, it seems like a silly move for the Bengals considering where they currently stand. It is misery for the Minnesota Vikings as second-year starter J.J. McCarthy has looked awful as the season has spun out of control. Now, McCarthy may miss time again with a concussion, but there are way bigger questions afloat after his recent performances. We got follow up news on Baker Mayfield on Monday and it sounds like he avoid major injury for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but with the way the rest of the team has been playing lately, their early-season dreams may be dashed anyways. Finally, the San Francisco 49ers cruised to a victory at home against the Carolina Panthers. Neither team should be taken serious in the NFC playoff picture regardless of whether they make it or not.
