In case you're not familiar with people Also Ask, it is a type of

featured snippet that shows up on the first page of Google for different keyword searches.

This snippet actually shows up in 50% of desktop searches and 66% of mobile searches. For example, when I do a Google search for the

phrase SEO, the People Also Asked snippet shows right after the number one search result. This section

list out the four most common related questions to the search that people on Google ask.

For SEO, the four questions in the people also ask snippet are,

what is SEO and how does it work? How can I do SEO for my website? What SEO stands for?

And how do I use Google SEO? Each of these questions has a

snippet pulled from a post, which is directly followed by a link to that blog post. Let's go

ahead and get right into the People Also Ask growth hacks.

Number one, people also ask helps you understand your target keyword phrase search intent.

Let's take the keyword phrase, beagle dog breed.

This is a top level phrase that is broad and might be harder to figure out what to focus your content on with the keyword phrase just by itself. Even when looking at the title of the

top 10 results in Google, it is still difficult to figure out the specific intent. However, when I look at

the people also ask section for this keyword,

the intent becomes very clear. The top four questions for the keyword phrase beagle dog breed
