I'm Alex Marlow and this is the Breitport News Daily podcast. On today's show, I begin with some thoughts on my interviews yesterday with Kathy Barnett and Dave McCormick.

They made their closing arguments on why they should beat each other and Dr. Oz in the Pennsylvania Republican primary on Tuesday, which is today as we're recording this.

The interviews got a lot of coverage throughout the media, which is exciting, of course.

Then I report on an impressive slate of wokeness from the likes of Michelle Obama, Sports

Illustrated, Starbucks, and many, many more.

I don't believe this tolerance by authoritarianism is working for the left, but they'll never admit that.

So expect a lot of doubling down in the days and years to come.

And we saw a bunch in the last few days.

I also give the latest on the baby formula crisis and much more.

Our guest today is Congresswoman Elise Stefanonic from New York's 21st District.

She's a rising star in the Republican Party and is likely headed for leadership in 2023.

And you'll find her answers to be quite sharp and she's very articulate.

And she gives a pretty clear response to the fact that Republicans, her included, have been warning about the baby formula shortage for months and yet nothing was done about it. But I do press her a bit on

a couple of tricky ones. Like, for example, what could have been done to stop this racist monster

from shooting up a grocery store in Buffalo and whether or not we can afford $40 billion for Ukraine.

We can't, but you'll want to hear her response.
