M Surely our griefs he himself bore and our sorrows he carried, yet we ourselves esteemed him, stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

But he was pierced through for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities.

The chastening for our peace fell upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.

All of us like sheep have gone astray. Each of us has turned to his own way, but Yahweh has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on him.

Now, we all know the words. I hope many of you have memorized these words.

And for many of you, since we're talking about, if you weren't with us yesterday,

continuation of the program from yesterday, we're talking about penal substitutionary

attainment. We're talking about something you can minimize down to an acronym,

but in fact is the very central aspect of God's self-glorification, the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
