0:18.0	And the first thing we're going to talk about today is non-coronavirus news. It turns out there is still some.
0:22.1	So if you're unaware, there's this new viral trend
0:24.2	that has resulted in a number of big people under fire.
0:27.2	You might have already seen an example of this trend
0:29.3	on your timeline for Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, whatever,
0:32.4	but mugshots right now are rather popular.
0:34.5	And there are numerous examples of this.
0:36.0	You've had users making compilation videos of real mugshots featuring people they find
0:39.4	interesting or attractive.
0:40.9	That eventually morphed into people staging their own mugshot photos.
0:43.9	A typical post here would be someone with messy hair, smudge mascara, some costume makeup that
0:47.9	roughens up their look, some holding up signs of fake or funny reasons for their arrests.
0:51.6	Others have even pretended to get into fights or staged scenarios that might lead to a fake arrest.
0:55.0	Some have also taken it further adding fake bruises, black eyes, bloody noses. And while there were people that had issues with this trend, especially the ones with bruised or bloody faces, the people that ended up getting hit the hardest were three massive influencers.
1:07.0	Through the likes of YouTuber James Charles, TikTok creator Avani Greg, and vlog squad member Karina Kopp.
1:12.6	Now this could have also been in part because these creators posted on Instagram and Twitter
1:15.6	were unaware of the TikTok trend and so people were confused and surprised.
1:19.6	James Charles, for instance, posted his look without a caption and he was flooded with comments
1:22.6	accusing him of triggering domestic violence survivors and glamorizing abuse.
