0:21.6	500 children. And the reason we're talking about him today is he is currently facing a lawsuit
0:26.0	aimed at forcing him to stop donating sperm. With a lawsuit saying that Meyer's prolific
0:29.8	and obsessive donation habit heightens the risk of accidental incest for the children. And the thing is,
0:34.1	this idea in general, it was a known concern. In fact, right now, Dutch guidelines limit donors to fathering 25 children in order to minimize the risk of incest and inbreeding.
0:41.3	But Meyer apparently said to hell with that.
0:43.3	Because he reportedly donated at least all clinics in the Netherlands.
0:58.1	But then, he reportedly just continued his donations in Ukraine and Denmark as well as internationally.
1:02.3	And I understand the 500, 550 number that's getting thrown around, right, that doesn't factor in children he may have fathered using those international services or anonymous donations. With one professional who tracked Myers' movements telling the times in 2021 that she had found mothers of his children
1:14.6	in Australia, Italy, Serbia, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Switzerland, Romania, Sweden, Mexico, and the
1:19.4	U.S. With many of the mothers of Myers' children displeased with learning how many kids he has. With one
1:23.4	mother from the Netherlands partnering with donor kind, a Dutch organization for children
1:26.6	conceived via sperm donor,
1:27.7	bringing this lawsuit against him. With a mother claiming that Myers told her that he didn't have more than 25 donor children,
1:32.3	so she was very surprised to learn the truth, saying, had I known this, I would have never chosen him.
