0:04.7	shitting on dads taking paternity leave, like are they okay? And like, hey, I understand that
0:09.2	paid parental leave is a rather alien concept for the majority of Americans because we are the only country in the OECD that does not have a mandate for paid parental leave.
0:17.5	It's one of those things why people in other countries say America is a third world country with a Gucci belt.
0:21.8	So this reason in toxic generalized slamming of paternity leave
0:25.2	is connected to this news around Transportation Secretary Pete

0:29.0	And if you're not familiar, Buda Judge first one on paternity leave
0:30.9	back in mid-August following the birth of his twins.
0:33.2	Notably he's doing this at the same time as the ongoing supply chain bottlenecks across the
0:37.0	country. Which regarding that I'm way more open to the conversation of splitting the two, right,

0:42.9	exceptional circumstance you are the head of a part of the government that is
0:46.5	dealing with a massive issue that's going to affect hundreds of millions of
0:49.8	American lives very different from Joe and Jane Blow who just had a baby and has a regular ass job.

0:58.4	I'm going to use Joe Roggan for two reasons.
1:00.3	One, he is the biggest podcaster in the world with just an immense audience
1:03.4	and two of the notable people with audiences speaking out against paternity leave
1:06.6	right now he's kind of the least dickish. Like I've literally seen some of these
1:10.0	guys just blanket statements saying paternity leave is for
1:12.9	Pussies. So it's gonna be far easier to work with the Rogan stuff than that. So yeah
