phone, called Maduro directly, and delivered what multiple reports describe as a final ultimatum,

leave now with safe passage for yourself and your family, or faced consequences that were

left purposely vague. According to several accounts, the message

couldn't have been clearer. The offer on the table was simple. Maduro, his wife, and their son,

could depart Venezuela immediately under U.S. guarantees. No prosecutions, no last-minute scrambling,

no back-channel arrangements, just a clean exit.
