And don't forget, we are joined by 20 or 30 of our good community members. Everybody. Yes! This is pretty awesome. So this is our day two podcast. We're going to be talking about a shit ton of games, a lot of which are indie games. Because it's about 70% indie. It seems to be about 70% indie here at PAXE. So I'm just going to go down the list here. We're going to start with Mercenary Kings. Who played that? I played mercenary kings. I played Mercenary Kings. Everybody but me played Mercenary Kings. I didn't play it. Ann Nolan didn't play mercenary kings. What the hell is mercenary kings? So imagine Metal Slug. You lost me. Really? You never... I know what Metal Slug is. You know what Metal Slug is. Envision Metal Slug with deep RPG elements and four-player cooperative multi-play. And that's what it is. Four player. Oh, yeah, yeah. Are you implying we should play this? So it's the same guys who did, what was the Scott Pilgrim game. The same guy in the Scott Pilgrim game. They left Ubisoft because they still wanted to make 2D. Because they made a good choice. I made a good choice. And they still want to make his games. |
