0:23.1	it later in the week. I hope you're not burnt out on 4th July sentiments. Just came from
0:30.6	the beach. The sun is setting on a breezy sunny California day. I'll get on the beach with
0:37.7	Fitzsimmons, Fitzgibbons, Gibbons and Gubbins. Gibbons is girlfriend in town. His daughter
0:43.3	came out. My lovely wife went in the ocean a little bit. It was cold but not bad. We're going
0:53.9	off to a friend's house. Going on the roof, watch some fireworks tonight and that's it. Maybe
1:00.2	a little wimble then. Maybe I'll watch a little wimble then before we leave. I was thinking
1:06.0	about the 4th of July and my favorite ones. I'm thinking that top three of all time, 1983, Brooklyn.
1:17.6	It was the Centennial celebration of the building of the Brooklyn Bridge, which by the way,
1:22.5	there's an amazing book by David McCullough about the building of the Brooklyn Bridge. A little
1:28.5	siren in the background. You can hear that. They're heading off to get the fireworks dealers on the
1:35.7	beach. A bunch of us took the subway out to Brooklyn and we drank a lot of Budweiser. We got
1:46.1	about halfway there and my bladder was so full that I was doubled over. I could not stand up straight.
1:53.2	I did not know Brooklyn at all. We were going to, I can't remember what stopped, but they just
1:59.8	told me what stopped. They were going to. I got off somewhere in Brooklyn, went and took a piss.
2:06.2	And then I got back on the train. Couldn't remember what stopped I was supposed to go to.
2:11.8	Drunk. I'm 16. And so I stopped. I got off the subway and what I thought was the place looked
2:19.7	around. Couldn't find them. Got on the subway, went to another stop, got off, found them. It
2:26.0	took like two hours. And then it was just like, I just remember being the best fireworks display I've
2:32.0	ever seen in my life. And I was with my boys and we just celebrated. Back when it was like, there was
2:40.0	something about celebrating the country back then. Maybe I was more innocent. But now it just almost
