I invite you to take your Bibles to turn to Romans chapter 15.

Romans, Chapter 15.

And the first thing I want to do on this unveiling morning for the Master Planning

Team Vision, Mission, Doctrine. for the master planning team vision mission document is to put the very concept of

mission statements into a biblical framework.

I want to ask the question, have we done a biblical thing in devoting eight months plus to laboring and praying and thinking and analyzing and studying and formalizing and analyzing and

formalizing and writing down a

Mission statement to give direction to our ministry. Paul talks about his ministry.

Let's start at verse 18.

I will not presume to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me,

resulting in the verse is very clear, it's on Christ working through Paul, whatever and however his ministry

and his mission got to be, it isn't a self-started, self-designed, self-sustained thing. This is a work of Christ here, right?

I'm not going to speak of anything except what Christ worked through me.

If I did anything without him, I'm not going to talk about it

because it is worthless. Okay.

Verse 19.

In the power of signs and wonders,

in the power of the spirit so that from Jerusalem down in southern Palestine round about as far as

Illyricum you know where that is? Bosnia. From Jerusalem, from Palestine to Bosnia Herzegovina.

I have fully preached the Gospel of Christ.

And so he's continuing on in this verse 19,

emphasizing God does the signs and wonders.
