Melanie Melanson, man, this case is always stuck with me. A freshman in high school goes to a party with older kids, never comes home.

And one of the things that sticks with me about that case, so tragic, people know about it.

Like, there's at least four people who know what happened here. One of them, Gene Bertini,

was arrested after that as an adult in 2011, I believe, for armed robbery of the gas station up in the Lowell area.

And it was a pretty vicious armed robbery.

I think he used a knife.

And he threatened people with this knife and used violence

against at least two people. And the police caught up to him. He's not the brightest bulb.

And when they did, he wouldn't give his DNA. And the cops, you know, this kid is a suspect

and a homicide and people in that area know that.
