One is, the Patriots were better today.

I've been throwing up the tweets on the simulcast on NBC Sports, Boston, again, which

is presented by the Draft King Sportsbook, just like here on 985. The sports up for the radio audience, Murray. You got a couple for us just to reset this? Yeah, you know what? You called for him earlier. He didn't use them, so now give me a second. Hold on. My bad. Even Bedard said progress, you know. So it was better.

And apparently what I found interesting is the reports that the offense was really whooping it up.

This feels like last year when Bill sort of forced the excitement in that second half.

Badard says two really good situational drives by the Patriots to finish practice.

Jones combined 7 of 10 with touchdowns to Montgomery and Henry to finish the drives. Jones was pumped coming off the field. Progress, writes Greg Bedard. Yeah, that was the gist. Those are the juiciest ones. So it still feels like it's the two-minute thing, which isn't the offense that they've been trying to install the first and second down offense. But take it where you can get it and sort of the forced enthusiasm. I'm calling it forced, just assuming that that's what's going on, because they need some positive momentum. And Mack Jones is going to make sure, probably at the behest of Bill, that they celebrate this and feel good about themselves, sort of like last year when they put up 45 on the jets and the Jaguars to give themselves a little wind at their sales.

This one was worth noting to Andrew Callahan from The Herald who said that Damien Harrison, Isaiah,

when sat out most of the practice, the starting O line had major trouble with Chandler Jones and Max Crosby, but they did finish strong.

So there's that. All right, so they did finish strong. Sharker.
