What is up, everybody?

It's Tom Caron's Patriots Talk podcast, joined as always by the Senator Phil Perry,

and this is the final podcast until training camp, okay?

We're not going anywhere forever.

But the Patriots called off their final mini camp practice,

and then they wiped out their OTAs for next week.

So they're on vacation.

So might as well get our blow while we can, eh, Phil?

Got to do it.

Got to keep the kids fresh for when the season comes back around, you know?

Yeah, when the bullets are flying for real.

Any issue at all with Bill Belichick going soft like that and saying, fellas, we've had enough.

Let's get out of here.

The one issue I could see people having with it is you are dealing with a very, very overhauled offensive coaching staff.

And so you would, in theory, like to maximize your opportunities on the field with those guys,

just so that by the time maximize, maximize, just that by the time training camp rolls around,

it does, it all feels normal.

Now, maybe they're already there.

Maybe they know Mack Jones isn't going anywhere.

And so he's the guy that they really have to continue to grow with and develop with.

When I say they, I mean Matt Patricia and Joe Judge.
