Anyway, so throughout the World Cup we are watching and reviewing a lot of football's very worst appearances on the big screen with a new episode reviewing a different film every Sunday,

But for our first of Pete's film club episode, there's only one place we could start in 2014.

TheFA inexplicably funded and released a film all about themselves called United Passions. It's not the worst thing they've ever done but it is widely considered to be one of the worst films ever made.

So me and Luke, you just had to watch it. We had to sit down and watch it. We had to get out of the way.

Pete's film club. I'll forgive any film that looks pretty presentable. I'll forgive decent actors chewing the scenery because they've been given poor direction.

But what I can't forgive is just some absolutely atrocious dialogue.

The great thing about that clip is that man is a visionary. The reason that dialogue is so bad is not just because of how hamily it's been delivered and how that Disney type soundtrack in the background.

It's because if anyone had said to anyone else at that time or any other time, I think we should have a football championship. Most people are just gone.
