podcast. Our theme today is patience, the life work of a leader. Patience, the life work of a leader,

0:13.5

or perhaps better said, the indispensable quality of a mature leader, being patience. So today

0:20.4

really is going to be a bit of a devotional.

0:22.5

1:36.0

I finish people's sentences.

1:37.9

You probably hear me talk fast on this podcast.

1:41.0

And I, you know, I get impatient in waiting on God for messages to come together,

1:49.3

to gestate over time. I, even in discerning God's will and making good decisions,

1:55.9

I struggle with patience. And in fact, one needs great patience as a leader to build anything of any substance,

2:02.9

whether it's a ministry, a church, a community. It takes years, decades sometimes. And I mean,
