They are a true Cross Fit Power Couple who have made a name for themselves not only as Cross Fit Games athletes,

but also as incredibly talented coaches.

We sat down to talk about their history, their newest venture, warm up and workout, what drives

them to do what they do and some of the biggest lessons they've learned along the way, many of those having to do with

A little bit of background about Pat and Taz.

Pat Barber first found Crossfit while he was playing competitive high school volleyball and he is

one of the few fortunate enough to train under coach Greg Glassman at the original Cross Fit

Gym. He began working for Cross Fit as a video editor in those early days and later is a trainer on the Cross

Fit seminar staff.

Taz Barber also became a trainer on the Cross Fit seminar staff after she had earned her

bachelor's in sports science and in psychology at the University of

Auckland and she opened the first ever crossfit affiliate in New Zealand.
