I saw a for rent sign in the yard next door. I called, and it was like a normal mom and pop

landlord just like me. And I ended up seeing him the next day mowing his lawn. So before I walked

over, Brian, this is so hokey, but I think it's important that I tell your listeners, I looked in the

mirror and I was like,

I'm going to buy the building next door.

I walked across the street, talked to the landlord.

I'm like, hey, I just bought the building next door.

I just wanted to introduce myself.

We can swap numbers in case we need anything.

And then he said, oh, do you know anyone that would be interested in buying mine?

My jaw?

I was like, act cool, Sarah, act cool, act cool.

I was like, yeah, maybe.

I think I went back into my fourplex and just shut the door and did a happy dance because I was like, holy crap, this is really working.

And seven days later, I was under contract on that fourplex.
