from looking at the trajectory of a book,

how much money they're making and everyone who's publishing it,

they're making a lot of money.

A lot more money than my ass did.

And I put out a book that was completely groundbreaking and factual.

And it did pretty good.

But it can't compete against a book filled with lies.

Right.

You just can't compete. And book filled with lies. Right. You just can't compete.

And so if you tell somebody the truth and it's the truth and, you know, they say the

truth hurts and it does, that's not going to get as much traction as reporting the complete opposite, which is a lie,

and you can cash in on that.

So you tell me who the dummy is out here with the 1980s, 1990s model of journalism.

I would say I am for trying to play it straight when the playing field rewards serial

liars and grifters fucking figure that out yeah it's it's insane it's a complete disgrace

and it's something I could never do I could have never made it in that world.

If I would have had to lie or if I would have worked on a story and it would have been crushed and, you know, you can't say that and you can't get it out.

I already know I could never make it in that world.

And I sure as hell would not take a dime to lie for anyone or push an agenda because it netted me a whole lot of money.

I would never be able to sleep at night.

It's not who I am.

And, you know, we've learned that there's not a whole lot of people like that out there.
