Last week the talk was entitled The Lion's Roar and The Lion's Roar is a phrase that

0:24.5

comes in the Tibetan tradition and it's a proclamation that everything is

0:30.9

workable. It's a proclamation of faith that this life whatever presents is

0:36.7

workable. Now by workable it doesn't mean that you're not going to get sick and

0:43.9

get old and die and lose jobs and things like that. It's not that kind of a

0:49.4

it's workable. It's a deeper sense that whatever happens, whatever happens,

up nourishing faith. What gives us faith? How we get caught? How we get caught in

1:57.8

doubts. And then mostly I'd like to talk tonight about some of the gifts or

2:02.6

blessings that come as we come home to this knowing that it really is workable.

2:11.7

If I just said in a nutshell, what is the source of faith? And this is I think

2:18.7

common to all spiritual traditions. Our faith grows as we come to realize our

2:27.1

nature is not limited to this ego personality or body. As we begin to taste in a

2:35.6

very experiential way of belonging to something larger. You might call it to

2:42.1

loving presence or to spirit, to God, to this whole web of aliveness. And we have
