Doc Holiday part two. He's a killer. He's intelligent. He's refined. He's a drunk. I mean he combined so many contrary elements he

continues to fascinate. I think a lot of the fascination today is because this was a

guy who really didn't belong there and yet there he was not

only there he was he was sickly and shouldn't have been there in the first place and yet

he was holding his own among some real desperate characters.

What makes them fascinating to us is this remarkable congruence in his personality of both elegance and decadence.

Perhaps the final ironic contradiction is that in dying young, Doc Holiday gained for himself immortality.

A game like Pharaoh gives men the power to stop time.

That is the appeal in my observation. When the bed is placed, a moment is carved away from the

past and the future. In that enchanted enchanted moment anything is possible

A man's debts and regrets and limitations disappear

He is buying the chance to imagine for one moment at a time that the next card ideal will make

him rich.

John Henry Holiday I'm going to address not so much some

questions but kind of some questions and

stuff that people wanted me to go more in depth on on some stuff that I had

previously mentioned in part one the first one being why did Doc want to become a dentist?

Well Doc was always known to be like a very nervous kid. He was a nervous dude. his hands would like shake okay so when his

mom would teach him piano when he was younger she used to put pennies on the

back of his hands to steady his hands and keep them level and calm.
