Hey, Hey Waffle gang, I do hope you are well. My name is Mark and today we're checking out some more Reddit stories. And if you do love a Reddit story, why not consider, hit a like, subscribe, maybe that notification bell too. As I always say, it hugely helps out and let's crack on with today's story. Now today's story says parents booted me

0:23.6

out at 18 and left me homeless. Ten years later and they lost everything to 2020 bankruptcy. So they

0:31.6

broke into my home to squat while I was away. This is a rant story and I just need a place to vent this.

0:39.6

I don't want to reveal any details that would get me recognized,

0:42.3

especially by my parents if they happen to be on Reddit.

0:45.4

So please, no one asks for any details.

0:47.7

I don't already provide in this post.

0:50.2

I'm 30 male.

0:51.5

My parents didn't really want kids.

0:56.3

I was an only child and pretty much an accidental pregnancy from what relatives have told me, as my parents claimed that they were going

That business was their life, and I was always second fiddle to it. Any of the close members of family like my grandparents lived states away, and I barely knew anything

1:28.4

about them till I was an adult. So I had no other family around my entire childhood. I was

1:34.4

practically raised by TV and my school teachers. My own birthdays by the time I became a teenager

1:41.0

were often spent without my parents, as they'd give me some money and tell me to go

1:45.2

out and buy whatever I wanted. It was more or less the same with Christmas and sometimes even

1:50.8

back to school shopping. We wouldn't even have a Christmas tree after I turned 10. If it weren't for the

1:56.8

fact I convinced my parents to buy a fake one, I could build up and then take a part

2:00.9

later every year. If I were to describe my parents, think of them as those people who

2:06.9

always wear black, drink lots of wine and look down their noses at people. And the last I saw

2:12.3

of my parents, they looked and acted the same way, although my father was always wearing a toupee now.

2:19.5

When I turned 16, I asked my parents if I could work part-time for them and their business,
