Those in spiritual leadership are not to view the church with the indifference and with the

independence that surrogate caretakers view little children in a daycare center.

The church is to be a family.

And just like a family has to have a mother and a father to have the perfect balance of leadership,

so spiritual leaders in the church must mother and father the church.
