Netflix has released a new film Scooped based on Newsnight Booker, Sam McAllister's book,

Scoops, all about Prince Andrews' car crash of an interview, and it's

starring Jillian Anderson and Billy Piper, as well as Rufus Sowell, as the unswedy Prince

himself, to discuss his special guest, Royal Watcher. My mother, welcome mom.

Hi, Roberta. So lovely to be with you. So nice to be, have you here. So why do you think

this interview, years after it was done still captures the public imagination?

Well, one thing about royalty in the past, they were very intent on keeping the mystique of royalty and not letting in too much light on their

lives. So you always saw them at garden parties or opening a hospital or touring hospitals

or doing good works generally. And this has passed the whole royal family

and especially Prince Andrew, the near-do-well prince, in a very hot light. So we can see things.

Everything before was invisible. We didn't, we don't know what

palaces looked like. We didn't know what their lives were like. We got sort of rumors,

but this thing just exploded. And I think it's fascinating. And what did you think of Scoop?

Well, I was most interested in the interview.
