means we fire up the siren and get the super friends on board to break it down

joining me as they do now thrice this week.

What was your shock when you found out that Ron Rivera had been fired by the Carolina Panthers and owner David Tepper?

The timing was really shocking because there's a month left in the season. They're truly terrible.

We know that. It all started after the buy when they got their doors blown off in San Francisco.

Fine, you give a 50 burger to the 49ers. That happens. But you can't lose to the Falcons and

you can't lose to the Redskins. And I think David Tepper said you know what that's a wrap and actually

pointed this out on HQ when I was talking to you and Jonathan Breach there.

In the statement that the Panthers release with Tepper's name all name all over he said we're going to make a

comprehensive and thorough review of our football operation to make sure we are structured

for long-term sustained success.

That sounds boilerplate but I really do think he's an analytics guy and he ain't messing around with Ron Rivera doing sort of the old school only approach to football.
