After weeks of pressure and protest by parents and coaches, California health officials

have released guidelines for resuming high-contact high school sports like football

and lacrosse.

Based on COVID statistics, most Bay Area counties will be eligible to start practicing and competition, but with restrictions. This hour will hear what high school athletics in the midst of a pandemic will look like, what parents,

players, and coaches need to know, and, of course, we'll take your questions about

the return of some high-contact sports, even as many students continue distance learning.
