in so many areas of my life, but the filter that I had when it came to romantic relationships was

God's going to let me down because guys have let me down. So more than anything, God was like,

let me heal that because otherwise you won't be able to see what I'm trying to do. You'll just

always look at it through the filter of disappointment.

How do you deal with it when you're disappointed with life and ultimately disappointed with God?

Mia Fields is an incredible singer, songwriter, worship leader.

Even if you don't know her by name, you have probably sung along with one of the many amazing songs she has written.

She's co-written songs like Zach Williams' chainbreaker and

vertical worships, Yes I Will. Lauren Daigle's First and Mosaic MSCs tremble, just to name a few.

She wasn't a natural born songwriter, but she was willing to exercise the muscle of faith and follow

God's lead. But there was one area that she had struggled

to trust God. She longed to be married someday. And for years, she wondered when or if that would

ever happen. And it was hard not to carry that disappointment like a heavy suitcase.

Well, I actually didn't grow up necessarily in the church. You know, I'm from

Australia and it's not like, you know, I moved to the south when I was 27 and it's not like

the south. Like the south here, you say the name of Jesus and everyone's like, oh yes, I go to church.
