Everything that I had based to my identity in was gone.

And I'm like, Lord, I have no voice.

Leading worship, things I love to do in radio, it was gone.

God's story has been unfolding.

Since the beginning of time.

He invites you to be a part of it.

Praying for healing can be tricky.

Sometimes we pray and see miraculous results. Sometimes we pray,

and it seems like God is not listening. That can be especially true when you're dealing with a

chronic illness that lasts for years. Maybe you've heard the phrase prayer warrior. Well,

that description perfectly fits Weistockton. She truly loves to pray. She's used

her voice for decades on the radio, leading worship and praying for others. And sometimes in her

life when she's prayed, crazy, amazing, miraculous things have happened. And sometimes the

answers have been different than what she'd hoped. She's been both the prayer and the one prayed for,

especially during the long years of battling a chronic illness.

So in 2013, life was pretty, I would say, kind of normal.
