Moving along.

Let's go to the defensive side of the ball.

All right.

Let's start with interior, defensive lineman or defensive tackles.

Last year they broke camp with Bob and Jeff Hathley's first year as the defensive

coordinator.

On the interior, Kenny Clark and Devante Wyatt start with Carl Brooks, Kobe Wooden,

and rookie Warren Brinson rounding out the five.

So the locks are Clark, Wyatt Brooks, Wooden making the cut is Brinson. Notice that Stackhouse did not make the cut. That's the one that I'm wondering like, Brinson was a draft pick. You guys correct me if I'm wrong, but Brinson was a draft pick. So it kind of feels like you try to slide Stackhouse onto the practice squad as opposed to trying to get Warren Brinson out there. Obviously, they've seen a little more in Brinson than they did Stackhouse. What do y'all think about the interior defensive lines? Is there anything I'm missing there? And also, don't be afraid to mention that there's some birdies out there saying that LVN might kick inside a little bit too. So is there a chance we only carry four because LVN is going to play a little more inside? I don't know. What do y'all think? We'll start with you this time, Tim. I'll tell you what I think. This is the single most important position group on our defense this year. I don't care what anyone says. I know we got quote unquote concerns that corner for some some reason, whatever. The defensive front has got to get it done in the trenches, man.

And I think it is interesting, like you said, Clayton, that Nas Stackhouse is kind of not in the mix here.

You know, Kobe Wooden is a guy that we really like, but he's been kind of up and down too. And it wouldn't completely shock me if Nass Stackhouse has a hell of a camp,

sneaks in there and steals a spot or, you know, like we talk about Warren Brinson and guys

stepping up. Yeah, if in fact LVN can kick into the inside and maybe that room gets a little

tighter, I don't know. But bottom line, this is the most important group, I think.

These guys have to perform this year for us to get over the hump.

Yeah, Holmes MD1 says most think Stackhouse was better coming out.
