Well, the plan for today was going to be, you know, the mock draft defensive tackle thing.

I don't know if we're going to have time to get to that.

There's quite a bit going on, not a massive amount, but there's things that I feel like we

probably shouldn't put off. And in addition, we certainly can't talk about it tomorrow, I'm guessing,

because it's the start of kind of free agency. It is the legal tampering period. By the way, please make sure you have your

notifications on. Make sure you have this to auto download and all that stuff because I'm planning on

kind of just standing by the phone here and popping out little, you know, five minute

breaking news podcast type of things, assuming anything

happens. Nothing really interesting might happen. But if it does, expect that to come about.

But why don't we poke through what's been going on today.

I would say I'm not thrilled about it, but I'm not surprised either.

Anywho, let's start going through it.

First of all, as far as the quote-unquote non-packers news, it is, but, you know, outside of the team.

We'll start off with this. Senior NFL insider Jacina Anderson reports eight to nine teams are interested in impending free agent cornerback James Pierre. The six-year veteran has made only

13 professional starts with the Steelers, but is expected to draw significant interest in the free agent market, if not signed by Monday. Senior NFL insider

Josina Anderson reports. This comes on the heels of the expectation that numerous teams would

be looking to the free agent pool to help at cornerback in the coming cycle, a notion that could

spark rapid fire signings in the secondary.
