There is good news, very positive news for Major League Baseball soon enough in Las Vegas.

The Tropicana comes down.

That is where the ballpark is going up.

Good evening, John. Right now there's a very tall wall that surrounds the entire property several acres of course.

You could see as of earlier this week you could see a couple large piles of rubble.

But they are already in there getting going as quick as they can even though it's

2024 right now they're looking at a 2028 opening they have a lot of work to do

not just to build the ball field but apparently several other buildings that were

depicted in renderings they released this week which include an adjacent hotel

and another complex or two that may involve gambling and entertainment.

It's quite large.

It's not the ballpark originally I thought was going to be more freestanding by itself, but in

true Vegas fashion, you know real estate is very expensive there and they try to use everything they can.

So it's going to be surrounded by other buildings.

My memory is that the Oakland A's arrived in 2027 or is it 2026?

Oh, it's actually in Vegas it'll be 2028.
