Yin and Yang. Jeff, the nickel and diming phenomena that you've been identifying for the last

weeks, months, now has a way of expressing itself in dollars and cents. What is the difference

between the strip and downtown

in Vegas? And what about those numbers? Good evening to you, Jeff. Good evening, John. Well, the

difference between the two are when most people think about Las Vegas, they think about the strip,

the hotels like Caesar's Palace and the Cosmopolitan, all the ones that are fancy you see in

the movies, you know, all the glitz and glam.

And typically that's been where all the big money is.

That's where the big sports events are, like boxing matches, the big shows and concerts.

But because of, you know, the onset of inflation and because of the nickel and diamond that's been going on,

people have been staying away from the strip and droves.

But they're still going to the old downtown area, which has the older casinos and hotels and free entertainment, cheaper food and drinks.

It still isn't cheap by typical Vegas standards, but it's better than the strip.

And so what we're seeing is, for example, in March of 2025, which is the last time we

have figures for this, Vegas visitor volume was down 285,000 people for the month.

That's huge.

That never happens unless there's some sort of disaster.

But we are seeing that downtown is up.

The gaming down there is up 11.6% or about 9 million.
