We are watching Vegas transform itself into a baseball town in addition to a very large

guitar which I fancy is being watched for very carefully by the sphere. Jeff, a very good evening to you.

The sphere has become a favorite of mine because it looks, it's easy to anthropomorphize with that big eye that

watches everything including that car race that happened last year and will

repeat again at Formula One stuff. What I know is that the Mirage Hotel and the Tropicana

Hotel are no more or about to be no more. What is their status, Jeff?

Both hotel casinos are closed.

The Tropic Cannon, for the most part, aside from the towers, has been demolished or has almost completely demolished. Those towers will be imploded on

October 9th. A big ceremony with fireworks and a drone show will have all kinds of cameras

on it, all kinds of coverage.

And the mirage, they took out the volcano this past week.

That was a famous part of the front of it that was on the front of the strip.

It was a volcano that spewed fire and

had all kinds of volcanic eruption sounds and it would draw thousands of people

each hour, you know, actually every 15 minutes for these fire shows. And so those are both gone.

The one at the Tropicana is going to be turned into the ballpark to be used by the Oakland
