Watch. We go immediately to the saga of P22. Jeff, remind us P22 is that the mountain line

that had a festival and what's happened? Good evening to you.

Good evening, John. You're exactly right. P22 is the legendary Los Angeles area mountain

line photographed by a national geographic host of other people. It had a tracking collar

on it. Yothan made his way through the Hollywood Hills there in various parts of LA. He recently

had been accused of attacking a number of animals in the area, including taking a chihuahua

right off the leash of the guy that was walking the dog. They decided it was time to tranquilize

and take a look at the big cat. They did find it as having some problems in distress.

So now the decision is trying to be, they're trying to make a decision to find out, do

we place this cat in a sanctuary? Can it be healthy there? Or do we need to euthanize

it because it's a danger to itself or other animals? So that's a process that they're

dealing with right now. But it's fair to say that a lot of people feel very sad right

now that P22 is not walking along the Hollywood Hills.

Now P22 is a mountain line. You have lots of mountain lions and they come from the hills

behind the settlements. And are they being driven down by drought? Is there a driver?

Or is this always been happening? There's always been these occasions where they come down
