Watch is green as is the rest of California. How is green doing in the state that is

more important than any other for trends in America, at least for the last 50 or 60 years.

Jeff, the Governor of California, visiting China, talking climate change. That reminds

me that there are mandates, rules, guidelines in California for when and if everybody's

going to be EV, electric vehicle. You've been watching electric vehicles on the roadways

in California. You live in Orange County. So let us go to what you see. You tell me

you see EVs from Tesla. Do you see any other companies driving by?

Good evening, John. Yes. You see other ones. They're nowhere near the same numbers as

Teslas. Teslas are you, practically ubiquitous. Where you go in the state and see one in front

of you, one beside you, one behind you. They're really that popular. And you see them being

used by rideshare folks like Uber. Matter of fact, I wrote in one the other day to an event

I went to. It was a great ride. Very smooth and quiet. But the other cars you see are

cars like the Chevy Volt. You see a Mercedes EV model and Porsche. The Porsche EV models

become quite a bit more popular. Still not outpacing the typical Porsches, the real,

you know, the running gun Porsches. But you know, some of those cars are coming up on

the luxury side, but still the stalwart is the Tesla. It really is everywhere. I mean,

sometimes I'll look across a roadway in front of me a freeway. And if there are dozen

cars there, maybe eight or ten of them are Teslas. The really that many out there.

Is there a culture building up about Teslas and recharging at the recent charging stations?

Now the example I offer is that I'm pretty sure as a teenager before I was 16, I could

walk by a gasoline station on the corner. And there would be several really hip looking
