Portland, DA, Mike Schmidt, lost the election after his service-backed

soft-on crime policies were blamed for ruining the city.

I grew up to Portland somewhat frequently I have family up there and I've seen it over

the years change from a bright shining jewel on the western part of the US great

architecture culture parks it was a beautiful city turned into a

wasteland and it's the homelessness problem is horrible, the crime problem is always on

the increase, and so the folks of Portland finally reached a tipping point and they voted this guy out now this is very telling because back in 2020 he won with 70% of the vote and he was fully embraced by the liberal folks of Portland.

Well this time around, just this election past week, it was almost flipped on his head.

His opponent won 54 to 45.

So he slipped all the way from 77 to 45 and that is very telling considering again

this is Portland one of the most liberal cities in the US to make everybody hungry I
