What is the Pineapple Express and what are you expecting this weekend?

There are a number of storm systems around the world and they all have different names

and the one that sweeps across the Pacific from, you know, essentially from where Hawaii is out toward us is

Cold Pineapple Express, appropriately enough, and it's also fed by warm

water and warmer waters in usual. And so you get very moist atmospheric rivers that come in and just dump,

you know, so much rain on us.

It's unbelievable last night,

we experience probably the heaviest rain

I've ever experienced in a short period in California

You're in Orange County right you're the southern

right I've had rains in the mountains along the coast up in Northern California, Central California,

and this was by far the heaviest.

First, all, it was preceded by a fantastic lightning storm, which we don't see them quite

like this.

And then you just had, last year we talked about bucketing

grains that just came down in buckets.
