This is California speculation about a seat in the Senate now occupied for many years by

Diane Feinstein from from from San Francisco. In these last days, there have been several reports

about Diane Feinstein's health. And now I see in the National Review Online a lengthy essay

using information that is said to come from her A's who are helping her, but helping her so much

that they worry that she's not really organized enough to continue in the Senate.

The question I have for Jeff is why are we seeing this now? We knew this already when

Senator Feinstein returned from recovering from shingles and I believe elephant Titus was

mentioned. In other words, a series of maladies. She's 89, which is not ancient. It's senior though.

Why now Memorial Day are we seeing stories of questioning her health?

Who is the audience for this and what is to be done by Gavin Newsom or other senior figures
