1:15.4 | Now what is Shogun Syndrome? |
1:17.2 | Well it's an autoimmune disease and nobody really knows why it happens. |
1:21.8 | There are a couple of things that you need to be aware of though as |
1:24.4 | far as associations go. And patients with this auto-emute disease have an increased incidence of |
1:29.5 | having oral candidiasis and non-Hodgkin lymphoma. So just realize those two associations. |
1:36.4 | The patient is going to be presenting with dry characteristics, right? So this is a drying |
1:41.2 | syndrome. The Mikosa will be dry. So two things that the boards really want you to know are going to be dry eyes, which is also called karate conjunctibisica, or dry mouth, zerostomia. So these are the two things that you need to look out for. |
