Hey, what's going on guys and welcome to episode 102 of the Physician

System boards.com podcast and today we're going to be discussing or we're going to

be going over an interview that I had with Tracy Linsstrom. Now Tracy is in her last semester of her DMP program and

DMP stands for Doctor of Nursing Practice. So she gives an interesting perspective on her journey, her path to becoming a DMP, the similarities, the differences between that and going through PA school.

And so I think this is going to be a good interview for those of you who are

interested or kind of deciding whether they should go the MP route or they should go

the PA route. Now Tracy is also hearing impaired. So she discusses this as a challenge. She

discusses this as an obstacle and how it's kind of been a little bit difficult for

her to reach you know the heights that she's reached

thus far but what she wants everybody to take away from this is to use any type of

disability quote-unquote any type of challenge, whatever it may be, and use it as

motivation, use it as a reason to succeed. Do not use it as an excuse as to

why you can't do something. So she's very adamant about you achieving your goals, regardless of the circumstances that you're in.

So we're going to be discussing or we're going to be talking with Tracy Lindstrom.

Again, she's in her last semester of her D&P program, which is Doctor of Nursing

Practice.
