My name is Rob Maower, today a couple pieces of news from Tesla as well as some news on

BMW who has chosen a new CEO.

Tesla stock finished the week strong on Friday up 1.83% on the day to $258.18.

That compared to the NASDAQ, which was down 0.74%.

Tesla on the week, also up 5.3% extending its streak of positive weeks to seven weeks in a row.

The first thing I wanted to discuss is some of the pricing on the performance model 3.

There's been some fluidity to that situation over the last week,

so I just wanted to give an update on kind of where that's at.

We discussed earlier this week that Tesla had reduced the price

on the Performance Model 3 by $4,910.

A little bit after that, a couple of posts came up on Reddit showing that people

were able to order the performance model three without the 20 inch performance

wheels and a couple of other things unique to the performance model three things

that had been formally and briefly

unbundled from the performance model three and then grouped as a quote-unquote

performance upgrades package for $5,000. So a couple people were able to order

performance model three's without those options and a $5,000 savings.

So that meant a performance model three for $49,990.

That price would only be about $2,000 more than the non-performance dual motor model 3.

I think that's a great deal to go from a 4.4 second 0 to 60 to a 3.2.
