With water comes reptiles. Lots of reptiles. Of course, they were there before, without the rain they'll be there afterwards when the rain ends. It's coming

winter. Jeremy you've got lots of venomous snakes. They're everywhere. You've also

0:19.6

got pythons in the roof and you have clever creatures who have struggles on the beach, the pythons.

0:30.3

But I learned that the more water there is the more reptiles there are we've talked about this

0:35.8

it's coming winter however isn't it time for them to retreat we're seeing unusual

attention from reptiles given, do they hibernate Jeremy?

0:47.0

1:35.2

They have to warm up before they can start moving. So wintertime we never see them.

1:39.3

But the problem is right now we're not getting a normal winter.

1:43.6

While it's raining, while the weather systems are strange,

1:46.8

the actual temperatures are still a little bit warmer than normal.

1:50.0

So John, the effect of that is we're actually getting news stories now still about snakes,

1:55.1

well and truly into June, which honestly, any other year and certainly we've been speaking now for

2:00.0

a few years on this, you may remember that about this time of year, we start to see the
