This is the Friends of History Debating Society. I'm John Bachelor with Jeremy Zuckus in New South Wales,

0:05.7

where he has made certain in his broadcast moments to check around him for eastern brown snakes, for red-bellied black snakes for the usual

0:15.5

venomous lot because the snakes are on a rage. That's right. What started out

0:22.1

is anecdotal because of all that rain that happened last year

0:26.6

has turned into incidents that are not normal. We go first to the woman whom we reported last week, I believe she was in Queensland,

1:23.7

called the ambulance. They knew to call the local authorities too which

1:26.8

then got the helicopter in the air and everybody went perfectly for a

1:30.5

treatment. So they they got in there, they also immobilized her in the

1:33.9

accommodation so they made sure that she didn't move around and get that

1:37.3

blood pumping through her body and the venom going further into a system and

1:40.5

basically they did everything they had to do to actually save her life because the
