Zachus in New South Wales and this is the time for the reptile report.

Jeremy has sent me a photograph of two red-bellied black snakes fighting in the fields, open fields,

wrestling with each other. Nobody around, no audience, there's a camera shot from the road of these two snakes

fighting now Jeremy's got a lot of explaining to do because he he lives in

Australia which has nothing but exotic animals, birds and snakes and four-legged,

and they'll all try to kill you eventually.

This is two red-bellied black snakes going at each other with nobody around.

And it's not breeding season, but it reminded me immediately of the 1958, one of the best Westerns ever made, the big country.

Gregory Peck is a sea captain.

He falls in love with Carol Baker, who is the daughter of a ranch in Western the United States a vast

vast cattle ranch. Charlton Heston is the foreman of the vast cattle ranch.

He's in love with Carol Baker,

but she went off on a European tour

and fell for the captain, who's Gregory Peck.

So Gregory Peck's coming to the big country

to marry Carol Baker. There is a problem, however. The clan next door headed by Burr

lives, who will remember Burr Lives of folk singer. He does a magnificent job as being the villainous rival to Carol Baker's ranch. Well, it's her father's ranch, but Carol Baker's the daughter.

Charles Bickford is her dad.

They do not see eye to eye and they won't let each other wander with their herds past the fence line.

Well, it has to do with water. I won't explain the geography, but this is where the phrase

whiskey's for drinking and waters for fighting.
